On the 24th Oct, I went to Kechara House(KH) to participate in the Long Life birthday puja. Around 400 people turned up. So I gave a Dharma talk & I also mentioned that i would like a land to start an animal shelter. I explained where and why. I have started the momentum going to have a shelter. I am very much looking into an animal shelter as one of the departments of KH and also to educate the public THAT ANIMALS ARE NOT JUST FOOD.
I will be speaking more & more regarding animal shelter. Will have school field trips to create awareness of KINDNESS TO ANIMALS from young age.
It bothers me tremendously to see animals abused, hurt, abandoned, killed, eaten. It tears my heart out. I need to do something. I WILL.
